Back in 2009, my family and I were visiting New York. I had never explored an abandoned place and The Mountain View Manor would be my first. There isn't much about this elderly home, but one piece of information that I found was that it was closed down due to abuse of the patients. The place closed in 2006 I think and it's been abandoned ever since. Although the pictures are only of the outside, we did, however, get in. Why I didn't take pictures while inside will remain a mystery, but enjoy!
